Location: Friar Lawrence’s cell

Characters: Friar Lawrence, Romeo, Nurse

The scene started with Friar Lawrence walking into his cell and telling Romeo to come in. Romeo asks what the Prince said he is told he is banished, Romeo gets very upset saying it is just as bad as being killed and that he would never be able to see Juliet again. He said “Flies may do this, but I from this must fly; They are free men, but I am banished”. Then the Nurse comes and tells Romeo to come to Juliet’s room that night before he leaves Verona.
